What breed of cattle do you raise?
We raise heritage Black Angus cattle, carefully bred for superior marbling, flavor, and consistency. Our genetics are selected with intention and they're the foundation of everything we do and the reason our beef stands apart.
How are your cattle raised?
Our cattle are pasture-raised on open land in Middle Tennessee where they're treated with the utmost care and finished with a purposeful grain program that enhances marbling and flavor. We believe quality is built into every step, from genetics to grazing to the care we give each animal every day.
Do you use antibiotics or hormones?
We never use growth hormones. If an animal needs medical attention, we administer antibiotics responsibly. The health and welfare of our herd always comes first and it always means better beef for you.
What does "dry-aged" mean?
Dry-aging is a time-honored process where beef is aged in a controlled environment for an extended period. This allows natural enzymes to tenderize the meat and concentrate its flavor, resulting in a richer, more complex taste. The premium cuts from North 36 Farms are dry-aged for 28 days, hand-butchered, and flash-frozen at peak quality to lock in that exceptional flavor.
Is your beef grass-fed?
Our cattle are primarily grass-fed. They are fed a custom-blended grain mixture sourced from local farmers during the finishing phase to enhance marbling and flavor.
Are your products organic?
While we are not certified organic, we follow sustainable and natural farming practices. Our cattle are raised on open pasture in a healthy, humane environment and we believe our commitment to quality speaks for itself in every bite.
