From Pasture to Plate: The Journey of Our Angus Beef

Understanding how our Angus beef travels from our Tennessee farm to your table

Breeding and Raising

Beef Quality Starts at the Beginning

Premium beef starts at the tiniest level, genetics. The genetics at North 36 Farms derive from Registered Black Angus cattle, hand-selected for both maternal traits promoting calf health and growth as well as sire driven genetics focused on achieving premium grade beef. Utilizing a blend of embryo transfer, artificial insemination, and pasture services, we are intentional about each and every pair that is bred to deliver the finest calves each calving season.

Feeding: Grass & Grain

Grass-Fed, Grain-Finished, with a twist

Implementing New Technology for a premium product

On our farm, all cattle are provided free access to grassy pastures. Using innovative technology and equipment we are also able to develop custom rations for each of our cows, catering to their particular needs (both developmental and seasonal), Our goal is grass-fed always, with grain-finishing for the unparalleled marbling and taste our customers love.

Processing

Premium Grading and Exclusive Cuts

All at Trusted, USDA-certified facilities

Each of our cuts is meticulously graded to USDA Prime & Choice+ standards, achieving a marbling. This uniform, abundant marbling translates directly into richer flavor and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Ensuring these grades demands an uncompromising commitment--countless hours of expert animal husbandry, precise feeding regimens, and careful selection. When we process the beef, we use the best processors and butchers in Tennessee to ensure the best quality.
